10 things.
Hi there! Here's a list of some of the best marketing articles and management ideas that I've come across in the past few weeks. Hope something brings a smile to your face or an idea to your brain!
1 . "I think you just have to work hard for about 10 years before you know what you’re doing." - Ben Chestnut, MailChimp founder/CEO
I'm four years in, and this definitely feels true. How about you?
2. A comprehensive list of marketing software tools for any need
3. A four-part framework to create a marketing roadmap:

Step 1: Decide why your product makes lives better (narrative)
Step 2. Choose the types of people this narrative applies to (personas)
Step 3. Make content for each stage of the journey (funnel)
Step 4. Get your message to where the people are (channels)
(Great stuff as always from Tom Tunguz's blog, which is a wonderful read for anyone working in tech or SaaS.)
4. Make an "operating manual" for yourself
An awesome exercise for managers. My team and I really enjoyed doing this.
5. A counterintuitive way to increase diversity in tech
The solution: More undiverse (but well-meaning) people in management
6. The go-to guide for self-set salaries
(This was one of the most out-there ideas we ever tried at Buffer.)
7. New term! "In-between content" - content that people consume when they're in between consuming other content: commutes, exercise, cooking, etc. A very interesting read for any aspiring podcasters out there! And useful for anyone thinking about new ideas for content.
8. If you're looking for custom swag ideas, I've enjoyed daydreaming about the options here
9. 25 inspiring pricing ideas, including one where you cut your MRR in half in the short term in order to get huge gains later (see chart below)

10. 🚨Remote jobs alert 🚨
Lots of great jobs open now. Best wishes if you pursue any of these!

Wishing you lots of happy reading,
