Hi there 👋
Next week starts my annual rundown of the Best Of — books, podcasts, articles, SaaS tools, you name it and I’ll be ranking it. Until then, I’ve been bookmarking all sorts of other Best Of lists, including this awesome one from Pocket, which contains their Best Reads of 2022. If you see any great lists out there, please do send them my way!
Wishing you a great week ahead,
Kevan

Thank you for being part of this newsletter. Each week, I share playbooks, case studies, stories, and links from inside the startup marketing world and my time at Oyster, Buffer, and more.

New! Join my job board full of awesome remote marketing jobs in tech

Over the past several months, I’ve felt a convergence of many different threads, projects, and wishes around marketing jobs. Friends have built their own job boards (I highly recommend Jimmy Daly’s Superpath board and Corey Haines’s Swipe Files Collective). I’ve maintained my own list of awesome remote companies in Airtable. And there are multiple people in my network and beyond who are looking for great remote marketing jobs — either due to layoffs or simply because remote marketing jobs are pretty wonderful.
With these factors in mind, I’ve been working with the team at Pallet to launch a hand-curated jobs board full of the best remote marketing jobs available now.
And I’d love to invite you to check it out!
… and/or …
Request to join my collective where you can get connected directly with the job opportunities from my board.
(Joining the collective is entirely free. You create an account with Pallet, you can show/hide yourself and your jobs status as needed, you can accept or reject intros. Everything is on your terms.)
Here’s a sampling of some of the jobs on there today:
Product Marketing Manager @ Zapier
PLG Marketing Manager @ Webflow
Head of Content Marketing @ Superside
Sr. Product Marketing Manager @ Stripe
Head of Corporate Comms @ Block
… and over 50 more.
The way Pallet works is that I can build a collective of awesome marketing folks who are looking for (or curious about) new opportunities. Then companies can connect directly with this collective to help them fill their open roles faster. Meanwhile, everyone who’s part of the collective gets updated on the latest and greatest new remote marketing jobs that pop up on a weekly / biweekly basis.
If you’d like the chance to be connected to some of these amazing remote companies, simply apply to join the collective.
I’m hand-curating all the jobs so that they are from fully distributed or remote-friendly workplaces. The roles span product marketing, brand marketing, growth, content, and creative, and are typically at Manager level all the way through Exec.
Interested in joining? It’d be great to have you.
Know someone who might need access to new opportunities? Let them know. I’d love for them to join.
I’ll share more updates about the jobs board in future emails. It’s great to see lots of cool companies hiring, and I know there are tons of super marketers who would be great fits (maybe you?). Thanks to the Pallet team for making this jobs board easy and possible. More to come!
